Wagga Wagga Return and Earn

16/09/2026

Meet Nicole, who has been turning containers into something much bigger for the past four years.

Through collecting and recycling eligible bottles and cans, Nicole has raised an incredible $50,000+, with the funds donated to Angel Flight Australia and Can Assist to support the important work they do in the community.

It’s a wonderful example of how something as simple as returning your containers can add up to make a real difference for others.

A huge thank you to Nicole for her dedication, generosity and for showing just how powerful recycling for a cause can be. 💚♻️

🏁♻️ From Recycling to the Racetrack! 🏆

At just 11 years old, Ben discovered that recycling could help fuel his passion for racing. Now 14, he continues to recycle containers and uses his Return & Earn refund to help fund his racing journey.

Through hard work, determination and a whole lot of passion, Ben has already collected numerous trophies 🏆 and continues to love every moment on the racetrack!

It’s incredible to see young people like Ben turning something as simple as recycling into an opportunity to chase their dreams. 🌱💚

Keep racing, Ben! 🏁🏆

♻️ Every can counts! 💙

The Temora Lions Club recycles thousands of eligible drink containers through the Vinnies Return and Earn Wagga Depot, turning everyday recycling into meaningful support for the local community.

The funds raised are reinvested into community projects and local events, helping make a positive difference across the Temora region.

Pictured are Anthony and Gregory, proud members of the Temora Lions Club, whose commitment to recycling is helping create a stronger, more connected community. 👏💚

Meet Liv, the manager at Planet Fitness and one of her team.

They are one of our valued supporters, who collect bottles and cans then donate them along with the deposit to Vinnies.

We always more than happy to pop down there and pick-up the full bins. Every container we process at our drive-in depot is gratefully received as this extra cash goes towards our good work in the community.

Our thanks to Liv and all the folk who take the time to put their empties in our bin.

Our depot normally processes containers and pays the deposits back, so its extra appreciated when businesses choose to donate instead of keeping their cash.

One of our less regular regulars, The Morton family from Young.

They make an annual pilgrimage from Young to our Wagga Wagga depot - Yes 150km! - to process a years worth of containers.

This year's haul was 8 wool bales in the trailer and a UTE full boxes.

Luckily our automated bulk machines can process 100s of containers a minute and made swift work of that lot.

No matter if you have a truckload or just a few bags, come and try our drive-in depot and see how quick and easy it really is.

Thanks to the Morton's for supporting the Vinnies depot. While they get all their 10c, we also receive a processing fee from the Return and Earn scheme, which helps fund our good work in the community.

A BIG THANKS to the guys at Empire Gym.

They host one of our Return and Earn bins and very kindly donate all the containers and deposits to Vinnies.

If your business has waste containers and you would rather they go to a good cause instead of just in the bin, then please have a chat with us, as we are always looking for new supporters.

These lads from Narrandera collect containers from friends and family. Then when they have a load they do the 100km trip to our depot so we can process them.

This time it was 4 wool bales so well worth the trip and smiles all round.

Whether you live local or further afield, our drive-in automate Return and Earn depot will process you containers and you'll have the cash back in your bank before you're back in the car.
