Tomorrow night is the night I get to experience sleeping rough once. But so many people have to endure this every single day and night.

What a great workshop.

Empowering women from refugee backgrounds online workshops were delivered last week on two different dates, in partnership with fabulous Najla Sbie and Gracia Mukiibi. We facilitated workshops during the day and evening to accommodate participants who could not attend during their working hours.

The workshop is designed to build practical strategies that could empower women from refugee backgrounds in the following:
📍Economic and social participation
📍Women's safety
📍Leadership opportunities
📍Women's role in promoting social cohesion

Both sessions were interactive and engaging, with participants' favouring lived experience stories.
We are looking forward to delivering the same workshop again in November.
