“I know what I should be doing. I just don’t do it.”

Sound familiar?

Perhaps you know you should exercise, eat healthier meals, make that important phone call, give up a bad habit or finally deal with a problem you’ve been avoiding.

You may even have placed it on your to-do list—where it has been enjoying a long and comfortable retirement. 😊

So, why don’t you take action?

It isn’t always laziness or a lack of willpower. Often, the reasons for avoiding the action are simply stronger than the reasons for taking it.

In my latest newsletter, I explain how to tip the balance in your favour, overcome procrastination and take back control.

Have you ever caught someone lying to you?

It hurts.

Not just because they lied, but because it makes you question whether you can trust them again.

Here's something worth thinking about...

A lie tells you far more about the person telling it than it does about the person hearing it.

When someone repeatedly lies, they're defining their own character—not yours.

The real question is:

How will you respond?

Will you carry the anger and hurt, or will you learn from the experience and become wiser?

One of the greatest forms of emotional strength is learning that someone else's behaviour doesn't have to determine how you feel about yourself.

Their choices define them.

Your response defines you.

Be your own strength.

Have you ever learnt an important lesson after someone broke your trust? I'd love to hear your thoughts below.
