CEO Walk in My Shoes- Day 2

7 incredible local CEO’s have all given up their generous time away from work and their families to join us for a 24hr immersive experience.

We are so grateful that they’ve decided to embrace this experience to learn more about our wonderful charity and gain a better understanding of how we support hundreds of families each year with sick and injured kids from the Riverine and beyond.

Collectively they have raised enough to support a family staying with us for 88 nights! 🙌👏❤️

These CEO’s along with RMHC need your support can you help us hit 100 nights of accommodation for a family to stay with us while their little one is being treated at one of Wagga’s hospitals.

Hint: They are known for their expertise in taking job briefs, conducting interviews, and most importantly finding the right candidates for workplaces. 🤩⭐️

Aha, you guessed it! We are proud to announce Rhyley Hunter from Huntsman Recruiting as a participant in CEO Walk in My Shoes taking place on 11-12th April. Rhyley says, "Having four kids myself, I hate to imagine the stress, uncertainty and fear that you would go through if one of your kids were to be hospitalised for a long period of time. I love RMHC and have been a big supporter over the past five years and the charity holds a special place in my heart. Breaking: The traditional five-day slog in the salt mines has been unceremoniously dumped by the crew at Huntsman Recruiting.

Insiders are whispering, "Whoever dreamt up the five-day work week needs the boot."

One informant dropped the bombshell, saying, "I reckon they've gone completely rogue,” while another scoffed, "Nothing shocks me anymore with that bunch."

Speculation is rife about whether this move to a shorter workweek is purely just an attempt to trigger a reverse effect on the owners' hair situation – a receding hairline, disguised by the guise of a shaved head.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Wagga Wagga is part of a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting seriously ill children and their families. They are one of the eleven Chapters across Australia, and their mission is to provide comfort, care, and support to those who need it most.

In Wagga Wagga, they operate both Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room at The Wagga Base Hospital.

As the Program Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission, responsible for ensuring that families facing difficult times have a warm and supportive home away from home.

You are someone who embodies the qualities of empathy, emotional intelligence, and a proactive, energetic, and outgoing spirit.

You will bring a caring and thoughtful nature, making you the perfect fit for a role that revolves around supporting families during challenging circumstances.

Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing a team of approximately 100 volunteers, with 40 of them working on a regular roster system. You will also collaborate with a small, close-knit team of Casual Employees and the Executive Officer.

Don't worry if you're not familiar with all the administrative aspects of the role. RMHC offer a comprehensive three to four-week training and shadowing program to ensure you're well-prepared before taking the reins.

During this time, you'll learn the ropes of day-to-day operations, family check-ins and eligibility, managing a 24/7 volunteer roster, database management, and government procedures for lodging claims.
