We are open this Father’s Day with an à la carte menu available inside the restaurant or out on the deck.

Make a day of it with ’s Father’s Day Family Fun Day happening on the lawn, with live music, kids entertainment, lawn games and plenty more to keep the whole family entertained.

This is home 💕🏠

Right here in Wahgunyah, in the Rutherglen wine region, where Victoria's High Country meets the Murray River.

And we reckon it's a pretty special place to be.

Surrounded by vineyards, not far from the river, and with the High Country just up the road, there's plenty to explore around here.

And if your exploring happens to include a glass of wine, a long lunch at Quartz or an afternoon on the lawn... even better. 🍷

To see little old Cofield featured alongside some of the state's best wineries is pretty special, and we're incredibly grateful to be included.

A huge thank you to everyone who has visited us, supported us, shared our wines and cheered us on over the years. We certainly couldn't do it without you.

And of course, thanks to our amazing team who help create the experience our visitors enjoy every day.

A fresh new breakfast menu lands at Quartz tomorrow.

We've given it a seasonal refresh, keeping some familiar favourites while introducing a few delicious new additions.

From our House-Made Granola and Avocado Toast to the new Chilli Scramble Smash and our ever-popular Bacon & Egg Roll, there's something for every kind of morning.

Meet the chef 👨‍🍳

By now, many of you will have already met James, who’s been leading the kitchen at Quartz over the past few months.

Originally from Burrumbuttock, James has spent years cooking his way through kitchens in Melbourne, Tasmania and Albury, bringing with him a love of bold flavours, fresh local produce and a genuine dislike of food waste.

His biggest food inspiration? Vietnamese cuisine. His comfort meal after a long shift? Mum’s lasagna (and two beers 🍻).

When we asked what kitchen tool he’s most emotionally attached to, his answer was simple… “My apprentice, Griff.” 😂

Fun fact: Despite working with seafood, James admits the one food he secretly can’t stand is… octopus! 🐙

And if he wasn’t a chef? Apparently he’d be a failed novelist or a broke farmer.

One thing you’ll quickly learn about James is that he loves creating new dishes. So don’t just stick to the menu—be sure to check out the Specials on offer… and watch this space for something new coming soon. 🤩🍽️
