The Rutherglen W**e Show Presentation Dinner was held last night. It was wonderful to see the w**e community out in force celebrating everything that is great about our industry. Did you know the Rutherglen W**e Show has been run for 138 years and for Pfeiffer W**es last night….oh what a night!

We won three trophies 🏆🏆🏆 for our 2024 Durif, one 🏆 for our Rutherglen Topaque and one 🏆 for our Rutherglen Muscat and Top Gold’s for the 2025 Tempranillo, 2024 W**emakers Selection Rutherglen Shiraz and our 2025 Gewurztraminer, Classic Rutherglen Topaque and the Pfeiffer Seriously Fine.

Well done Jen and her w**ery team for a wonderful achievement…and thank you Robyn, Chris and Jen for allowing our team to accept trophies on their behalf.

It made it an even more special night. ❤️ ^kb

With budburst well and truly underway, and the chance of frost on Thursday morning, it’s time to slash down our cover crop in our Carlyle vineyard to encourage the frost to settle on the cut down cover crop, rather than settling next to the cordon where the buds are opening up.

The radishes have done so well this year, and while we will miss their pretty white flowers in the mid-row, we know the real work they do is under ground!!! ^jp
