Payday Super is coming… and it’s going to catch a lot of businesses off guard.

From 1 July 2026, super won’t be something you deal with quarterly.
It will need to be paid within 7 days of every payday.

That means:

No more “we’ll catch it up at BAS time”
No more using super as a temporary cash buffer
No more loose payroll processes

For organised businesses, this won’t be a big shift.
For everyone else… this is where things get uncomfortable.

This isn’t just a compliance change.
It’s a cash flow and discipline change.

The businesses that get ahead of this now will be fine.
The ones that don’t will feel it very quickly.
