We are a family business, established in 1999, on the west coast of South Australia. With 17 years experience, we know exactly what makes strong, sturdy and safe silos and field bins. We transform tired or old models into easily-accessible, long-wearing grain storage for the fraction of the cost of a new system. Silo and Field Bin Services specialise in:
- Ground-opening lids, fitted with rigid, galvanised steel pipe frames
- Replacement of old or damaged cable systems with rigid pipe frames
- Addition of 300mm UV proof sight glass / inspection windows
- Installation of full or half tank rings for up to an extra 120 bags capacity of storage
- Replacement of full tank rings
- Installation of manholes and hoppers

The base ring of the middle silo here was rusting through, and the silo was no longer safe to use.

We cut the old base ring off, shortened the legs a little, and welded a brand new ring back in.

We also installed 12 ground opening lid assemblies, 7 new bottom rings, 12 sight glasses and painted the inner cones of all bases with heavy duty primer, and kill rust enamel top coat.

We added an extra ring to two small silos to bring them up to the same capacity of the two next to them. We also added an extra ring to five field bins, as we as sight-glasses and our ground-opening lid assembly, to make them safe and easy for the farmer to use.

A tree tree fell on this silo during a storm, and ruined the roof and the top ring.

We had to dismantle it to be able to remove the damaged components, and build a new top ring and roof. We also replaced the ground-opening lid assembly, and added one of our 300mm sight glasses.

Currently servicing the Yorke Peninsula and Mid North of SA.
