We added an extra ring to two small silos to bring them up to the same capacity of the two next to them. We also added an extra ring to five field bins, as we as sight-glasses and our ground-opening lid assembly, to make them safe and easy for the farmer to use.

A tree tree fell on this silo during a storm, and ruined the roof and the top ring.

We had to dismantle it to be able to remove the damaged components, and build a new top ring and roof. We also replaced the ground-opening lid assembly, and added one of our 300mm sight glasses.

We upgraded and repaired the silo on the right back in 2017, as it we very rusty around the bottom ring and rusted right through a section of the cone.

Recently we did the same to the one on the left, leaving the farmer with two fully functional, safe, user-friendly silos for a fraction of the cost of replacing them.

This farmer had a few old field bins that were quite rusty on the inside and barely usable. We removed the old corrugated tanks, replaced them with brand new wall sheets, and added manholes and ground opening lid assemblies just in time for harvest. Great job and an excellent client to deal with.

The bottom ring on this Sherwell silo didn’t have many seasons left in it. Thanks to the assistance of Geroke Logistics we pulled the top off, removed the bottom ring and replaced it with a new one. We also added our regular upgrades to make it safe and user friendly for many years to come.
