Teachers Pal v1.0 (incl L&F master key) Free Shipping. 2 key set!

This set will open locks on old wardrobes, as well as filing cabinets such as Brownbuilt brand as well as compatible locks on other items.

Teachers Pal V1.0 is a set of keys that are intended to get relief teachers out of a bind when they encounter common facilities like filing cabinets, lockers, cupboards, etc but may not have been issued all the required keys. But you do not have to be a teacher to find these useful as the same kinds of locks are used for many applications.

The set includes a basic cupboard key (still found on legacy furniture items in many schools) and a master key that opens the vast majority of locks that normally use a key typically shaped like that pictured in the second image.

Locks of this type are widely used and do not cone from one single manufacturer as they are widely copied. This series of lock is considered to be a low security lock (which begs the question of why apartment letter boxes all too often use these locks on letter boxes) in any case but is usually manufactured master keyed. Due to a design limitation of this type of lock cylinder, only one master key is possible, and that key is included in this set.

These may be useful for office workers, general assistants, pe*******on testers, or even individuals who want to check whether they have locks around their home that are vulnerable.

COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Electronic safe owners - leave no access codes set to the default.

Some electronic safes, including some readily available retail models such as the "Lockwood Digital Home Safe", have a feature referred to as a "master code", effectively giving two access codes to the safe.

Owners of these kinds of safe are strongly recommended to change all codes, including the 'master code' before putting the safe into service. Failure to change just one of the codes provides an easy method of access for unauthorised users because the default codes are publicly available and common to all safes of the same type.

I.M. Secure Locksmiths, in discussion with others in this industry, have identified that cases of digital safe users failing to change master codes on digital safes is not an isolated event, apparently as a consequence of the users being unaware of the full range of features their chosen safe has.

Please familiarise yourself with the user guide that comes with your safe.
