Situated on coastal farmland in Wallington and just a 20 minute drive east of Geelong on the Bellarine Peninsula, is Oakdene’s boutique vineyard, cellar door, restaurant and café. Specialising in the varieties best suited to the region; Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, our hand-crafted wines are elegant, whilst reflecting varietal character and complexity. Dedication to excellence in the vineyard and winery has produced immediate results, with wines awarded medals and trophies in major wine shows, and a 5-star rating in James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion for the past four years. Our cellar door is manned by a small team of Bellarine Peninsula locals who, over the years, have developed an intimate understanding of our region and a deep knowledge of our wines. The team are always keen to talk you through our range of award winning wines, show you around the property or help you decide which wines to take home with you. Continuing our celebration of Oakdene’s 2027 Halliday W**e Companion results...

Our 2024 Bellarine Peninsula Shiraz has been awarded 92 points and recognised with a Special Value Red Star by Philip Rich. ⭐

Fully destemmed and matured in French barriques, this medium-bodied Shiraz opens with dark fruits, white and black pepper, dried herbs and crushed violets. It’s flavoursome, beautifully balanced and offers excellent value. Enjoy now, or give it a little more time to soften and open up over the next six to twelve months.

Continuing our celebration of Oakdene's 2027 Halliday W**e Companion results...

Our 2024 Liz's Chardonnay has been awarded an impressive 95 Points and recognised with a Special Value Red Star by Philip Rich. ⭐

A bright and beautifully balanced Chardonnay, showcasing attractive stone fruit, yellow fruit and delicate marine notes. The palate is persistent and refined, with a fine line of acidity bringing both structure and length.

Our 2025 Ly Ly Pinot Gris has been awarded an impressive 95+ Points and recognised with a Special Value Red Star by Philip Rich. ⭐

A beautifully crafted Pinot Gris, barrel fermented and matured in barriques, displaying a deep, bright green-gold hue. Delicate aromas of just-ripened nectarine, pear and fresh honey are complemented by a hint of spice, leading to a gently textured and persistent palate with a subtle note of oak.

We're delighted to begin our celebration of Oakdene's recent vintages with the 2025 Peta's Pinot Noir.

A beautifully expressive Pinot Noir, with aromas of strawberries, maraschino cherry and violets, complemented by a medium-bodied, fruit-driven palate and fine, elegant tannins.

We are honoured to share that Oakdene W**es was recently recognised by the Real Review as one of Australia’s Top W**eries for 2026.

This is a tremendous achievement for our small family-owned w**ery. The Real Review Top W**eries Certificate is awarded to a select group of w**eries that consistently produce excellent w**es, with the annual list regarded as a national benchmark among Australia’s leading w**e producers.

To celebrate, we invite you to join us this weekend for Pinot Affair and enjoy all things Pinot with Oakdene.

Held across our two venues, Oakdene in Wallington and Quiddity Place in Mannerim, guests can enjoy a special tasting flight featuring a curated selection of Pinot w**es. Explore and compare styles, vintages, and favourites throughout the weekend across both locations.

At Hidden Frog Restaurant at Quiddity Place, the experience continues with special menu features thoughtfully paired to our w**es on tasting. Choose between Crayfish & Salmon Raviolo paired with our Ly Ly Pinot Gris or Duck served three ways paired with Peta’s Pinot Noir

We’re thrilled to share that Oakdene has been selected as one of eight Victorian w**eries to be showcased at La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, France, the world’s leading museum dedicated to w**e! 🍷

Welcoming over 400,000 visitors a year, the museum immerses guests in global w**e culture, giving Victorian producers an incredible opportunity to shine on the international stage.

Our 2021 Bernard’s Cabernets (a Bordeaux-inspired blend) and 2023 Liz’s Chardonnay will be on display, celebrating the quality and diversity of Victorian w**e alongside some of our state’s most respected w**eries:

- Rathbone W**es (Mount Langi Ghiran & Yering Station)
- Fowles W**es
- Stanton & Killeen
- De Bortoli
- Yeringberg
