Project Throwback: Ken's Bore Airport Terminal

A proud moment for Mineral Resources and an exciting milestone we’re thrilled to have been part of!

At Atifax, we delivered the complete commercial joinery package for the newly opened Ken's Bore Airport Terminal — meeting tight deadlines and upholding our commitment to quality, detail, and functionality.

From stone-topped counters and upholstered banquette seating to full facility joinery, porcelain wall and ceiling panels, and scalloped timber feature cladding. Every detail was shaped to elevate both form and function within the terminal.

A huge credit to our team for turning this fast paced project into another success story.

With a strong focus on the health and wellbeing of mine site workers, the newly opened Mungala Resort sets a new standard, and we at Atifax were proud to play a part in bringing it to life.

All joinery was expertly built in house and managed by our experienced team, ensuring precision and quality at every stage, from workshop to installation.

Incorporating curved banquette style seating, warm natural finishes, precision joinery and integrated greenery, the space has been meticulously crafted to deliver a functional, durable and inviting dining environment.

This was a remarkable achievement by our team. Well done!

🎉 Congratulations Joshua Grove! 🎉

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Joshua Grove has officially completed his Cabinet Making Apprenticeship and training contract through North Metropolitan TAFE, and is now a fully qualified Cabinet Maker! 🛠️👏

Joshua joined Atifax in 2022, and over the past few years, he has consistently demonstrated dedication, craftsmanship, and a strong work ethic across all areas of the business.

Through his apprenticeship, Joshua has gained the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to thrive as a professional in the Cabinet Making industry.

It’s been a pleasure watching him grow from apprentice to tradesman, and we’re excited to see where this next chapter takes him.

Industry Leading Project

It was an honour for Atifax to supply, deliver and install premium joinery for the first ever resort-style accommodation pods at Ken’s Bore Resort.

In collaboration with The Complete Group, we provided custom cabinetry for over 350 apartment-style rooms which were all crafted right here in Perth.

These innovative pods are transforming FIFO living by combining the comfort and functionality of home with thoughtful design that supports both individuals and couples.

A landmark project for the mining industry and a major milestone for Atifax.

We had the pleasure of bringing some serious flavour to The Jerky Co’s new head office with custom cabinetry, feature walls & full office fitout.

A bold, custom fitout that blends industrial edge with modern functionality. The standout? A one of a kind partition wall crafted entirely from PVC pipes. A raw, unexpected twist that adds texture, light play, and attitude to the space.
