Safety switches are designed to protect you, your family and anyone visiting your home from electric shock.
They turn off the power in a fraction of a second if a leakage of current is detected.
This Electrical Safety Fortnight we’re reminding everyone to test their safety switches every three months by pressing the 'Test' or 'T' button. If the switch trips, it's working as intended. Simply reset it afterwards.
