A new family home in the Bega Valley. This project was developed after the clients approached ARC Design Gippsland seeking a design that responds sensitively to its rural setting. The dwelling combines vertical timber with contrasting metal cladding, creating a contemporary yet inviting aesthetic. Generous glazing opens toward sweeping valley views, inviting natural light deep into the interior and seamlessly connecting indoor spaces with the surrounding landscape.
Designed in close collaboration with the clients, the ground floor layout has been tailored to their specific lifestyle needs. Family connection, functionality, and comfort were key priorities, ensuring each space supports day-to-day living while also offering moments of separation and privacy when required.
