Green Distillation Technologies Tyre Recycling Plant in Warren, NSW He was followed by Charles Sturt in 1828/29 and was followed by the establishment of Warren Station in 1845.

Warren in western New South Wales is a special town for Green Distillation Technologies, because it is where we started with the first pilot plant in 2009 followed by the first commercial processing plant in 2014. It is situated 120 kilometres north west of Dubbo on the Oxley Highway, the main trunk route between Brisbane and Melbourne, 525 kilometres from Sydney

We owe the town a debt of gratitude for their unstinting support from the outset by providing a rent free building at the racecourse where Denis Randal could conduct his first experiments to prove that he could turn old tyres into oil, carbon and steel and facilitated the acquisition of the land where the processing plant is located. Today GDT has repaid some of that early support as it employs 14 people full time and is the second largest employer in the town after the Council itself. Historically the area was the home of the Nglyambaa aboriginal people and European settlement of Warren commenced in 1818 when John Oxley camped at the present town site. It was incorporated as a municipality in 1895.
