WestVic Waste and Recycling have a position available for a truck driver, working from our Warrnambool depot.

Skills and responsibilities
 MR licence as a minimum requirement, preference HR/HC
 Ability to operate a variety of trucks in our fleet
 Complete electronic (on iPad) daily pre-start inspections and run sheets
 A strong commitment to safety
 Must be physically fit, hardworking and reliable, working in a positive manner with other team members.
 Ability to carry out other roles as required within the company

We are able to offer you:
 A permanent, fulltime role after a qualifying period

•Safe operation of plant equipment, including:
-Front end loader
-Excavator

•Work with customers to assist in the correct unloading of waste at the site

•Assist in the operational management of the work area, managing and sorting waste

The successful applicant will have experience working on heavy vehicles, along with a solid understanding of servicing vehicles, diagnosis, repairs & general maintenance. A good understanding of auto-electrics is preferred but not essential.
Your ability is the key, diesel mechanic qualifications are not absolutely essential.
The role is based in a modern workshop in Hammond Place, Warrnambool with usual hours of 7.00am-4.00pm 5 days a week (hours are flexible). There is opportunity for paid overtime.
