I know in my younger years I was the one that had the camera wherever I went - now Iโm not talking about the iphones like nowadays - Iโm talking about my camera that I would have to go & get the photos printed from the film, whilst waiting with anticipation to see what the photos had turned out like ๐
Then we stepped into the digital camera era where we could at least see them before printing & be able to leave out the ones that we didnโt want to print.
Majority of the time it was nights out having fun with friends & family that I would be taking photos of, now I find myself taking photos of my kids, scenery around me & animals. Itโs easy to whip out the phone & take some photos, the built in cameras make it so easy & readily available.
Then thereโs filters - to use them or not to use them, Iโve only dabbled in that a little bit, thereโs just so many different filters & options to alter photos with your phone these days.
Photos are a way of holding onto a memory for a lifetime, when looking at a photo, it brings back the memory of how you felt in that moment, what you saw in that moment, what you could hear in that moment & sometimes what you could smell in that moment.
How important to you is it to have photos to keep memories alive? Share your thoughts below, Iโd love to hear the importance of photos & what having special photos means to you ๐ธ๐
