⛽ High fuel costs are placing pressure on many businesses, and the ATO has announced temporary support measures for businesses impacted by rising fuel costs until 30 June 2026.
Support may be available where businesses are experiencing difficulty meeting their tax obligations due to increased fuel costs. This may include flexible payment arrangements, consideration of interest relief, and PAYG instalment variations where income has reduced.
Support is considered based on individual circumstances, so if rising fuel costs are affecting your business cash flow, it’s important to seek advice early so the right options can be explored.
