Andy purchased this knife, he told me "it's sharp, but not razor sharp! You know i want it to be shave hair kind of sharp". He asked if I could fix that problem for him.
The real problem was the factory edge. The angle at the top was different to the blade, which was also different to the hilt. So, out to the linisher I went. Fixed the problem, then back onto the stone. Now I have no hairs on my firearm to test any more knives........I think he'll be pleased with the result. By putting a new shoulder on it, it will also benefit the next time is sharpened and hopefully help the life of the blade.

Good morning all.
Had a great week, got to do a couple different blades for one of my work mates.
A 30cm scimitar, and his meat chopper.
I am absolutely stoked with the way they came up.
Pete loves the 12" for cutting up rumps and he can't wait to use his meat cleaver too

A SHARP KNIFE IS NOT A NEGATIVE.

I worked out yesterday that my work knives, after 4 full on days are still sharp. Did not hit hard or fast but still a good nick.
If it wasn't as sharp as it is, I would have been using extra force and cut so much worse.
A sharp knife glides through and if you do make a mistake (we all can) it is generally not as bad because you are using less pressure.

IT'S INEXPENSIVE, and makes cutting meat and veggies a pleasure.

Call me to get your knives sharpened for Christmas. Free pick up in Warwick returned same, or next day depending on time of pick up.
I can do a trip to surrounding areas even to Toowoomba next weekend if anyone needs some blades sharpened, I can do them on site as well.

G'day everyone! Finally got around to jumping on here and checking everything out.

I'm blown away. Thank you everyone who has clicked to follow me.

My kitchen knives and work knives. Just a very small, daily used, portion of my accumulated blades. I have pocket knives, hunting knives, collectors knives, work knives of many varying shapes and sizes. All razor sharp.
Knives are one of my passions.
