Termseal Australia Pty Ltd

Termseal Australia Pty Ltd Australian-made termite management & barrier systems, engineered for long-term protection of your home or building. TERM-seal (Aust) Pty. Ltd.

(TERM-seal®) is a corporate entity formed in March 2003. The directors are highly regarded and have proven track records spanning three decades or more in their chosen fields. In 1997, entomologist Phil Hannay, and industrial chemist Roger Franklin began working on novel and ecologically sound systems for termite-proofing new and existing structures. The aim of their pure and applied research was

to devise a proprietary product range that would provide eco friendly, cost-effective, easy to install alternatives to existing methods of termite protection while reducing exposure of installers, home owners and the environment to pesticides. In 2002, this closely knit partnership began realisation of the developed systems with the attributes they were seeking. A great deal of research and development, testing and regulatory compliance was required to turn this concept into the highly efficacious products that form the TERM-seal® systems. We are proud that our company and products are wholly Australian owned and manufactured - by us in our specialised factory in Brisbane.

A rigid barrier is only strong until something shifts. Multi-Purpose Active stays flexible after it cures, so it moves with the building instead of failing at the first sign of movement.

Got a joint or step-down you're not sure about? Get in touch with the TERMSEAL team.

Sloped sites bring extra junctions, and every step-down needs the same level of protection as the rest of the barrier.

Here's TERMSEAL Systems following the fall of the site, stage by stage, with no gaps left behind.

Got a tricky sloped block coming up? Get in touch with the TERMSEAL team.

You ask, we answer.

Multi Purpose Active cannot be sprayed with a normal spray application. It requires a Graco electric airless unit, with the Ultramax II 695 as the minimum size. This unit is around ten thousand dollars. Standard sprayers do not have the pressure or power to atomise MPA and will clog or fail to deliver the correct film build.

MPA can also be applied by brush or roller, and must always be used after an application of Termseal Prime Coat for maximum adhesion.

If you have any questions about applying MPA or choosing the right equipment, we are here to help.

Every site is different, and Australian conditions don't make it easy. Heat, humidity, reactive clay, sandy soils, sloped blocks and step-downs. TERMSEAL Systems are engineered to perform across all of it, so protection holds up no matter what the ground throws at it.

19/08/2026

Termite risk isn't the same on every site. Heat and humidity speed things up, reactive soils shift and create gaps, and sloped blocks bring extra junctions that need attention. Reading a site properly is what separates a good install from a great one. Got a tricky site?

Get in touch with the TERMSEAL team before you install.

You ask, we answer.

We get asked a lot of questions about Multi Purpose Active, so here are a few more uncovered for you.

Coverage and thickness are two of the most common questions we receive about Multi Purpose Active. As a guide, MPA is applied at one litre per square metre per coat. A backfilled wall needs to reach two millimetres, which is three coats, and joints need four millimetres, which is five coats. If the application is for termite-proofing only, one less coat is required. This is what delivers the waterproofing and termite protection the system is designed for

If you have any other questions about using MPA or the TERMSEAL system, we are always here to help.
