Consumers be wary! Time and time again we hear from our clients who have choosen to go down the “cheaper” route (which is fair enough) however they also see huge issues in standard and quality afterwards! This is a massive issue in the industry right now.

What a great way to end another busy week at Sammut Glass 👏 💪
Brand new solid black aluminium glass panels installed at Centenary Landscaping Supplies new location at Geebung QLD 🪏 🌱 🧱 🗺️

These window / glass panels replaced some very old original glass louvre galleries that were letting A LOT of dust directly into the sales team office which wasn’t too ideal so now they still get the light in without the dust and also a more updated look for the site too 😮‍💨🙌

🧼 TIP - Cleaning of Window or Sliding Door Tracks 🧽 ⬇️

A very common service we provide is Sliding Window Or Door Servicing where we need to replace such things as broken wheels.

Sometimes the broken parts are purely due to age however many times we also see tracks that are full of debris, dirt, thick dust build up and even a Lego piece or a Barbie shoe which can definitely impact your smooth sliding capabilities 🛞
So here is your reminder to NOT forget these high traffic areas when your next house cleaning to avoid further damage and issues!

Here’s some handy tips:
1. You can purchase very reasonably priced products made especially for cleaning out tracks such at Kmarts Sill Cleaning Set for just $4 👌

2. The red hot tip 🔥- Do NOT use WD40 on your window and door sliding tracks - it is not suitable product and can actually cause further issues. We recommend using Silicone Spray instead which is available at Bunnings for less than $20 a can which will last a long time too 🙌

Did you also know that if you have a bent /damaged track due to wear and tear or broken wheels been dragged - we don’t need to replace the whole thing! 👏 We have amazing suppliers at Mr Windows who we can get capping track from to suit and help you slide easier again😊
