Pixie Nut & Co is a illustration based design label creating stationery, accessories and ceramics designed by Philippa Nilant. Phili works from home on an off-the-grid community in Northern NSW, Australia, surrounded by subtropical rain forest. As a kid, all Phili wanted to do was make and draw things. She dabbled in fashion design and set and costume design for many years. More recently she decid

ed to focus on illustration which has led to her starting Pixie Nut & Co. Inspired by her surroundings, Phili bases her designs on Australian flora and fauna and plays with styles and colours reminiscent of the Australiana craze of the 70's and 80's. Australia, we can do better. 💔

This isn’t my usual kind of post, but I’ve been reading and researching a lot about what’s happening to our Jarrah forests and the impact it’s having.

Preserving habitat is incredibly important for our wildlife, yet profits and international agreements often seem to be prioritised.

I've been wanting to create a simple, ongoing way to give back and support wildlife rescue and rehabilitation and also help protect our forests and advocate for an end to forest mining expansion.

So these are the two local organisations I’ve chosen to donate to 🌳🦘

What i've been working on in January 🌸✨️🦋 I love this time of year because there's finally some space to breathe after christmas. I do most of my design work at the start of the year and I've been focusing on birds this time! The Aussie favourites: magpies, kookaburras and of course, black cockatoos 😍

All our earrings are made in Australia from my original hand painted designs, printed onto lightweight, sustainably grown hoop pine and finished with stainless steel posts or hoops so that they're comfortable for sensitive ears!

2025 was a lot, some years are about building, some are about holding yourself together, this year was both. 🏡
Hoping 2026 will be a year of thriving, growing gardens, lots of painting and bringing more creative ideas to life! (And a little bit more "me time" would be great too if I can squeeze that in 🫠 )

Office/studio setup at our new place! This room was built as a home theatre so its dark and only has 1 window but we've added lots of lights and made it into the perfect little place for Pixie Nut 🥰
I love working from home instead of having to drive to a separate office like I used to. My favourite thing is the workbench for packing orders and all the little modifications we added to it.
