Be cautious. There seems to be a rising number in third-party businesses sending marketing letters that can look similar to official ASIC correspondence. These organisations are not affiliated with ASIC, and any "discount" offered applies only to their own service fees, not official ASIC charges.

If so, the Vehicle Allowance has increased to $1.05 per kilometre from $1.01.

This came into effect from 1 Sept 2026 and will be in place through to 28 Feb 2027.
