UPDATE - Thank you everyone for the support! It’s been overwhelming. We have begun the clean up and whilst doing so we are still operating! 💚
We honestly never imagined we'd have to write something like this but unfortunately Wyndham Metal Recycling has been devastated by a fire, and to say we're heartbroken doesn't even begin to describe how we're feeling. Watching something you've poured your heart, soul, countless hours, and years of hard work into be damaged so suddenly is something we wouldn't wish on anyone.
Like many small family businesses, this isn't just where we work it's our livelihood, our future, and a huge part of our lives. Right now, we're trying to come to terms with what's happened while figuring out how to clean up the mess.
If you know us, you'll know that asking for help is something we rarely, if ever, do. We always try to stand on our own two feet. But today, we're putting our pride aside because we simply can't do this alone.
We're reaching out to ask if anyone has any spare tip passes they would be willing to donate to help with the enormous clean up ahead of us. We would be happy to take away rubbish for free along with it.
If you're able to help, please send us a message. And if you can't, we'd be so grateful if you could simply share this post. Your support, kind words, and encouragement mean more to us than we can ever put into words.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has already checked in on us, offered a helping hand, or kept us in your thoughts. We are incredibly lucky to be part of such a caring community, and with your support, we hope to rebuild and come back stronger than ever.
Thank you the WMR team 💚
