Another one of Seedhead's Designs. Finding Common Ground is a not for Profit organization which aims to 'cultivate a local food network' in and around the Blackall Range. When designing this logo I chose to depict a series of hills with the focal point being the point at which the hills meet - the meeting place. In otherwords the ‘common ground’. The different textures symbolise the various crops
or produce, the overall logotype has been treated
with a hand drawn effect to denote organic and
reflects the woodcut style that was requested for the
illustration. It is detailed enough to be interesting, yet
simple enought to work as a logo.
The typeface chosen reflects earthy grounded
qualites, qualities you would wish to impart to your
clientelle, and matches the logo beautifully.
