Wrapping up a fun week! Our team thoroughly enjoyed making connections at the TACTIC conference in Port Augusta. It's an exciting time with many opportunities in the Upper Spencer Gulf and surrounding regions. This conference was fantastic for facilitating the partnerships needed to drive project outcomes. Not only did we have a lot of fun at the conference, we captured a sensational sunrise on our morning walk!

As part of National Reconciliation Week 2026, we are committing to a deliberate, learning first approach - strengthening our understanding of reconciliation and embedding it across our people and culture, professional practice, partnerships, and governance.

This journey will guide the development of our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan and support us to contribute meaningfully to improved health, equity and community outcomes.

We’re rapt to welcome Paul McEvoy and Liam Modystach to the Healthy Environs team.

Paul joins us as Senior Principal Consultant, bringing more than 25 years’ experience delivering complex, outcome-focused projects across governance, organisational improvement, policy reform and stakeholder engagement. He has worked extensively with governments, health services and organisations operating in highly regulated environments.

Liam joins Healthy Environs as our Customer Service and Community Engagement Officer. He brings strong customer service experience and a genuine passion for connecting with people from all walks of life, supported by his current studies in psychology.

International Women’s Day is a moment to recognise and celebrate that contribution, while continuing to support inclusion and participation for everyone.

This category recognises organisations creating meaningful, lasting impact across South Australia. We’re grateful that our work – partnering with councils, industry and local communities to strengthen health, inclusion and resilience – was acknowledged.

From the Roxby Downs Community Hub to public health planning and aged care support in remote regions, Healthy Environs’ focus remains consistent: practical collaboration that leaves communities stronger for the long term.

The Healthy Environs team wrapped up 2025 with a professional development day followed by a Christmas dinner – bringing together our Adelaide crew and our Roxby Downs Community Hub team for some much-needed connection, celebration and laughs.

We feel incredibly grateful for the clients, partners and communities we’ve worked with this year. From local government projects to community wellbeing initiatives, every collaboration has meant something to us.
