🏡 MEMBER PRESENTATION – DENNIS FROM STROUD HOMES NOWRA

On Friday, Dennis from Stroud Homes Nowra showed us how the right preparation could save someone up to $50,000 on their new-home build.

Dennis took us through Stroud’s four-step process:

✅ Choosing the right land
✅ Finding a design that suits the block, budget and lifestyle
✅ Understanding the complete “black and white” quote
✅ Completing the preliminary testing before construction begins

One of the biggest lessons was that the cheapest block isn’t always the cheapest block to build on—and the cheapest quote doesn’t always result in the cheapest build.

From slope, soil and easements to bushfire overlays, design choices and hidden allowances, Dennis explained the things buyers need to investigate before committing. His approach is about replacing assumptions with reliable information and helping clients understand exactly what they are paying for.

Dennis also demonstrated BNI collaboration at its best, highlighting how local conveyancers, real estate professionals, consultants and trades can work together to help clients make better decisions.

Dennis’s ask this week is for an introduction to an intelligent, busy professional who would like to build their dream home and wants someone to make the process clear, transparent and manageable.
