Another battery install down and another customer slashing their power bill! 🔋

32kwh of battery storage coupled to their existing solar system. The system will be set up to utilise Globirds 3 hours of free power to help charge the battery each day, so on cloudy days there’s less stress of hoping and relying on the solar to charge the batteries.

Some interesting finds we’ve come across over the last week.
Regular checkups for both old and new systems are super important to keep your solar running smoothly and efficiently aswell as keeping your roof sealed and rain proof from old silicone and conduit.

Smashing out the solar inverter replacements!

Diagnosis and repair of a 5kw grid tied solar inverter.
This part of the house cops a fair bit of sun so we installed a sun cover to protect the customers investment from the elements.

Another Sigenergy install & another happy customer!

Today we installed a 10kw Sigenergy inverter with 18kwh of battery capacity. We utilised the existing solar panels by removing the 2 existing wall mounted inverters and re-directing the solar string cable to the new Sigenergy battery system via duct work.

We sized this system by analysing their energy usage over a 1 year period, so they can live entirely off the battery and solar.

How good is a solar & battery system!

Battery fully charged by 10:30am and so for the rest of the day the house runs completely off solar.
Once the sun goes down the ENTIRE house runs off the battery till the next day when the sun comes up!

2 months post install for this system and it has run completely off solar and battery storage, therefore no more paying a power bill when previously paying $1400 a quarter before this system was installed💪

Run the aircon on a hot or cold day, use the oven and stove to cook meals, use the clothes dryer or run the hot water service knowing you aren’t paying a cent for its energy usage. That’s the beauty of a solar and battery setup.

Have a look at this!

35mm flexible jammed in a breaker + loose terminal = the last thing you want charcoaled…

Luckily for this customer they contacted us when the issue was in its early stages. We then got it sorted with a new moulded case circuit breaker that uses lug terminals.

This shows the importance of regular electrical checks whether it’s for a solar & battery system or general electrical. Don’t leave it until it’s too late.
