I've been busy with machine installations the last few weeks.
This is the 6 head, 15 needle Tajima TMAR K embroidery machine.
Setting up 90 threads and Threading 90 needles takes a lot of patience.

It stands and impressive 65cm tall with a 45 gallon bowl.

Here is why you don't buy cheap needles, especially from Chinese web sites.

The top needle is a quality Schmetz needle.
The bottom is a Chinese "Singer" branded needle.

The flat shank is the back of the needle. The Scarfe is also the back of the needle.
Note the Singer needle has been manufactured backwards with the scarfe on the front of the needle.
The machines hook will hit the needle and is unlikely to sew well or at all, more importantly it will break needles and possibly damage the hook.

Only buy good needles from a reliable source.
