Values woven into the fabric of five generations of Barossa Valley vignerons since 1919. Set amongst the gentle slopes of Williamstown in the famous Barossa Valley, Charlie Fromm instigated a family legacy the moment his crowbar broke the soil. The first vines were planted on our property in 1919 and following in his footsteps today we feel humbled to tend these historical vineyards. Pursuing a bl

end of traditional and progressive sustainable farming methods, our vision is to balance this with nurturing and improving the land in which we live. There is no time like the present to concentrate on increasing farm biodiversity, re-vegetating our watercourses, planting native corridors and insectariums, reducing our carbon footprint, and all things towards looking after this beautiful part of the Barossa for generations to come.

Something special has just been released from Hayes Family Wines:

2021 'Vineyard Series' Fromm Vineyard Shiraz

Our Single Block 'Vineyard Series' Fromm Vineyard Shiraz from the sensational 2021 vintage comes from an old patch of shiraz grown in Williamstown by the Fromm Family. Williamstown being elevated and further south is cooler and typically wetter than the Northern Barossa. Resulting wines tend to be more red fruited, but can by powerful as this wine shows in a great season.

Steve Leszczynski of QWinereviews.com loved it 'This is a beauty and just gets better and better. I thought it was on fire on day two of tasting but it continued to impress as time went on. Get around this fabulous Single Vineyard Barossa Shiraz.'
