What to drink when Mother Nature is throwing up Spring one day and Winter the next?

The Puritan is no ordinary shiraz, young, fresh, unoaked & preservative-free.

"This is such a joyous w**e, unencumbered by oak, a full buoyant expression of lovingly grown fruit. There should be more like it. Untrammelled by w**emaking, this is a riot of violet, lilac, boysenberry, blackberry, blueberry, lavender and iodine, with hints of salted licorice, cola, gingerbread and a tarry mineral-like note.... This is really very lovely."

♾️ VINEYARD FLOW STATE | When your team has worked together as long as these three, working in flow is natural.

Three Spring viticultural techniques working together to build our organic vineyards for Vintage 2027:

Crimping: Broad bean cover crops are crimped flat against the ground to form an organic mat, fixing nitrogen to the soil, improving structure & keeping moisture locked in.

Mowing: Soursobs and grasses in alternate rows. They’ve done their job keeping weeds at bag, now they return different nutrients to the soils.

Dodging aka Dodge Ploughing: Minimal impact cultivation, removing weeds under vine & aerating the soil.

After 30 years of organic viticulture it’s becoming second nature.
