Why quality equipment and installation matters in the long run.....
this came yesterday from a client we did work for in 2012. it cost more than the Chinese equipment at the time but it's still there whereas the cheap gear would be long gone already

I have a 3.8Kw solar system at present which you installed early 2012.
It continues to work well and output appears to have never changed.

Today we replaced a system with new panels of similar rated capacity to the old ones that were around 15 years old. Whilst only commissioned around midday, the boost to output is pretty compelling

inverter upgrade from 4kW 24V to 6.5kW 48V

Solar servicing - is it worth it?
often a case of out of sight out of mind until something fails, pre-emtive servicing, testing and cleaning will keep your investment working better for longer and can identify some potential dangerous problems.....
this site is lucky - the panels are end of life and the badly burnt cells are one step away from a full on house fire :(
