Established in 2005 by Larry & Edwina Cherubino, we make uniquely West Australian wines of great depth, detail and purity, true to their provenance. Our focus to be on sub-regional and single vineyard wines in the Great Southern of Western Australia. All our wines are carefully crafted to reflect a true sense of place, and to express the fruit at its finest and most unequivocal. We’re pleased to share that Huon Hooke has awarded the 2023 Cherubino Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 97 points for The Real Review.

“It’s full bodied and power-packed with lasting intensity and drive, very deeply flavoured on the mid-palate and garnished with fine, persistent, mouth-coating tannins that will help ensure a long and distinguished career. The perfumes expanded with time in the glass. Superb cabernet now and for many years hence.”

Cabernet Sauvignon has long been central to our work in Margaret River, and this result reflects the attention that goes into those vineyards year after year.

We’re pleased to share two new additions to the Uovo range: the 2026 Uovo Chenin Blanc and the 2025 Uovo Cabernet Franc.

Uovo is one of the more unusual things we do. The w**es ferment in large concrete eggs, on their own yeasts, with nothing added. The shape keeps the lees moving, and it shows in the texture.

This time it’s a white and a red from two regions. The Chenin Blanc comes from Mac Vineyard in Margaret River, planted in 1996: saline, with citrus pith and chalky mineral. The Cabernet Franc comes from Frankland River: wet earth, black cherries and mulberry, with soft, long tannins 🍷

Now showing in our Linton & Kay gallery space: ‘Held by the Water’ by Kiara Rechichi-Baker.

The Laguna Veneta (Venice Lagoon) has been Kiara’s companion, teacher and ever-evolving muse since 2013, when she undertook residencies with master printmaker Gianfranco Gorini at his studio on Murano. She went to Venice for the city, but kept returning, day after day, to the water, watching how light, tide and weather shift across its surface.

Gold for Cherubino at the International W**e & Spirit Competition.

The 2025 Cherubino Margaret River Chardonnay has been awarded Gold at the IWSC, receiving 96 points.

Sourced from Margaret River, Western Australia, the w**e was recognised for its vibrant citrus profile, generous fruit core and long, polished finish. The judges described it as showing “ripe lemon marmalade and toasty notes,” with energy, pithy brightness and a rich, powerful structure.

A fantastic recognition for Larry, our w**emaking and vineyard teams, and the continued strength of Western Australian chardonnay on the world stage.

This October we’re opening Sip & Stroll, a new monthly series at the Cherubino Cellar Door. Our Senior Viticulturist, Matt Fox, will guide you through an intimate tasting before walking you into the vines, sharing the season’s work, what’s happening in the vineyard, and how those decisions find their way into your glass.
