The Home Vineyard is currently a vista of shifting hues as the last of autumn lingers in Margaret River.

As the vines begin their gradual transition into winter dormancy, our viticulture team is preparing for winter pruning: unclipping wires, spreading compost to nourish our soils, and carrying out essential repair and maintenance across the rows.

This winter, the team will hand prune 147 individual blocks across 329 hectares of our Margaret River vineyards, a meticulous process that nurtures each vine and sets the foundation for the growing season ahead.

Currently exhibiting at the Estate, 'Time to Burn', curated by Christine Gregory, examines current fire management practices, with a focus on aerial prescribed burning in Western Australia’s Great Southern and South West regions. Through artistic and community perspectives, the exhibition explores the environmental, cultural, and ecological consequences of these methods.
