On 30 March 2026, the Select Committee on Rural Housing and Second Dwellings Reform tabled its final report, marking a significant step towards improving housing opportunities across rural and regional NSW.

The report outlines key recommendations aimed at:

🌱 Supporting sustainable rural development
🔨 Reducing barriers for landowners, builders, and industry professionals

The NSW Government's formal response to these recommendations is due by 30 June 2026 — just 7 days away.
