Baileys of Glenrowan is a quality winery, steeped in history, specialising in fine organic red wines and luscious fortifieds. Established in 1870, Baileys has taken the best of the old vineyard winemaking techniques and combined these with a modern interpretation to produce outstanding and truly distinctive wines.

🍷 With the weather becoming colder it’s the perfect time to celebrate International Durif Day, the love child of Shiraz & Peloursin. This French grape variety has packed its bags & found its home in North East Victoria. We have about 40 acres of Durif vines at Baileys of Glenrowan.

Our 2022 Durif has been winning Gold Medals around Australia & bringing a smile to everyone that tries it. That beautiful dark purple inky colour as it’s poured into the glass, as you give it a swirl & taste, you are given a friendly embrace of plums, blueberries & dark chocolate.

So light the fire, cook a hearty warming stew, pour yourself a glass & celebrate International Durif Day, cheers to that!

At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. We acknowledge and remember all servicemen and woman and service animals today. Alfred Theodore Bailey, Varley’s son enlisted and fought in WW1. Unlike many he returned home to Glenrowan. Lest We Forget
