Baileys of Glenrowan is a quality winery, steeped in history, specialising in fine organic red wines and luscious fortifieds. Established in 1870, Baileys has taken the best of the old vineyard winemaking techniques and combined these with a modern interpretation to produce outstanding and truly distinctive wines.

👏 We’re incredibly proud to share that our 2022 Organic Durif has been awarded a Gold Medal at the 2026 Sydney Royal W**e Show.

This is exceptional recognition from one of Australia’s most prestigious w**e shows and one with a remarkable history. Celebrating its 200th year of w**e judging in 2026, the Sydney Royal W**e Show is Australia’s oldest continuously run w**e competition, with more than 1,500 w**es assessed blind this year. Just 105 w**es received Gold Medals this year.

For our Durif to receive Gold is a wonderful reflection of the heritage and w**emaking craft that define Baileys of Glenrowan.

The 2022 Organic Durif is a true expression of Glenrowan’s affinity with Durif, this full-bodied and opulent red is rich with concentrated fruit, beautifully textured and supported by firm, ripe tannins. Spicy, complex oak characters add depth to a w**e with impressive structure and a long finish full of flavour.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. We acknowledge and remember all servicemen and woman and service animals today. Alfred Theodore Bailey, Varley’s son enlisted and fought in WW1. Unlike many he returned home to Glenrowan. Lest We Forget
