Who says jetski season ends when it gets cold?
Winter might be the best-kept secret in WaveRunner riding. The water goes glassy, the crowds disappear, and you've pretty much got the whole bay to yourself. Add the whales cruising past on their migration right now, and a crisp winter morning out on the water is hard to beat.
The trick is gearing up properly. A good wetsuit or drysuit, dress for the water temp not the air, and always let someone know where you're headed. Sort that out and winter riding is some of the best you'll get all year.
So don't pack the ski away just yet. Rug up, get out there, and enjoy having the water to yourself.
