Although the weather is determined to keep us indoors, Spring is around the corner and thoughts turn to spring sales.

Open your press release with a fact. Where, when, how, why. Don't waste the first few precious seconds of a readers time with 'setting the scene.' Journo's are time poor and information hungry. Give them what they need and you'll get what you want!
