If its one thing Ive learned is that no amount of running from our past gets us to where we think we will be.

Our pain shows up everywhere.

Our relationships.

Our business.

Our health.

Our wealth.

The words we say to ourselves and the words we say to our kids.

Its even in the places we think its not.

Everywhere you go, there you are.

If there is something in your life you dont yet have that you have been doing all the steps to get…. the truth is that there is something within you haven’t yet faced.

And it will continue to haunt you….

Until you decide to turns towards what you’ve been running from.

Until you face what you have been avoiding.

Everything in life is yet a reflection of ourselves.

Our true selves exist on the other side of the integration and healing of the moments that have shaped us.

𝐕𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭

I woke up this morning in just this love bubble.

I stared at the kids and Pete and just felt so much love.

And its such a contrast in my life.

For years I blocked the ability to let love in. I had a wall of protection from hurt which meant on the outside no matter how much love was being thrown my way it never pe*****ted the walls i had placed around myself.

Id built an armor and a bloody good one at that.

Like a blockade of protection, just in case.

I was so deeply loved yet it could never pe*****te the wall I’d so meticulously built.

And here I was on the other side…

I felt so alone and misunderstood.

So afraid.

Like I was different to others.

Afraid of what others thought of me.

My walls were high.

Until they weren’t…

Until I did the work to let them crumble.

I went first.

And all in.

I went first so that now I can hold you to do the same.

And now I vow to go deeper into myself than anyone ever will.

And even though yes it has required courage, its not as scary as you think.

I remember thinking this is the most liberating freedom you could ever experience.

And I have done it so I can hold you.

That is my vow and my promise.

I get you.

Ive been you.

And because of this, the gift I give myself everyday is the love I feel for myself and from others.

My favourite thing is exactly that. The love I feel to and from my family. Id do it all again.

The walls have crumbled.

The love, the power and connection to everything is indescribable.

The freedom has no words.

All is takes is one step at a time.
