Our small, family-owned winery and meadery is located in the historic village of Womboota, NSW. As well as making distinctive, characterful handcrafted grape wines, we're passionate about the ancient art of mead-making. We were one of the first meaderies in Australia to explore and develop the potential of varietal (single-honey) meads. Our meadmaking philosophy is to combine tradition and innovat
ion, using local and regional honeys to create traditional sweet meads, lighter, contemporary-style meads, and fortified meads. Our cellar door in Womboota is open daily (except Mondays), and visitors are welcome to enjoy mead
tastings and bring a picnic or enjoy a coffee in the shade of our century-old peppercorn trees. We also sell our meads and wines at farmers’ markets, festivals, and by mail order and online. We're also part of the Backroads Trail, a touring route in southwestern NSW that takes you off the beaten track and through the farming country around Moama, Barham, Mathoura and Deniliquin, and features historical sites and farmgate produce. For more information, please see the Backroads Trail page.
