Ripple Effect for Leaders

Ripple Effect for Leaders Connection, communication & contribution are the focus at events for business owners & leaders to apply the art of relationship building & contribution.

A bi monthly Friday lunch held at The Hobart Function Centre, Elizabeth St Pier and monthly Thursday evening supper/tapas at Oomph Barrack St. This group will be all about who we are being! Many business/sales people focus on the do and the have of the sales and business growth process, although very important parts, if we focus on who we are being, know why we do what we do and where we want to b

e whilst focusing on making a difference to others, the do and have will come. Making a difference must come from an authentic place without any expectation of anything in return! The real thing is not a path. The real thing is the authenticity of the seeker! You can travel on any path. If you are sincere and authentic, you will reach the goal. Some paths may be hard, some may be easier, some may have greenery on both sides, some may be moving through deserts, some may have beautiful scenery around them but if you are sincere and honest and authentic and true, then each path leads to the goal. Simply authenticity is the path. Join us to expand your skills in developing relationships and adding value to others.

This Friday in Hobart Women’s Network Australias’ guest speaker is Anita Dahlenburg.

Navigating life as a business owner, the chairman of the board of a thriving charity, former CPA, and B Corp Australia certified consultant committed to assisting the growth of businesses sustainably, Anita has discovered a thing or two that she would love to share with us.

Having worked alongside varying and rewarding clients as a Chartered Accountant and as their trusted Business Advisor, combined with her business ownership endeavours and governance knowledge, Anita has developed an appreciation for a holistic approach to small and medium businesses.

Anita recognises that businesses need a mechanism to apply good governance, along with consideration for our social and environmental impact. Her understanding of this led her to pursue practical ways and means to guide businesses on how to navigate the sustainable business landscape.

Come along to hear Anita's story and ask as many questions as you can to learn from Anitas' journey and help improve the sustainability of your business.

Places are limited, so please register here today to secure your seat. Your ticket gets you in the door, then you're able to order and purchase your own lunch and drinks once seated.

Perspective. It’s such an important aspect of how you view your set of circumstances, prioritise in life and your connection and communication with others.
Being able to view situations from other positions, consider other beliefs, experiences and view points allows us to better understand each other and have greater empathy. It reduces bias, judgement and conflict.
(Pics are taken the same time this morning - one on the Gold Coast one in Tasmania- I think we should put our clocks back 3 hours!!😜)

May this International Women’s Day be one where we reflect on how far we have come and be the catalyst for further conversation, and real action on how we can really magnify the change still needed to have all people regardless of gender, race, physical and mental capacity, education, title, position, financial capacity, location and religion feel heard, included, celebrated and belong.

Let’s face it. 2020 was a pretty tough year for business in general, and a sector that has taken a big hit is training and development. Many operations shut their doors, some permanently, as everyone struggled to cope in the wake of mass cancellations. In a couple of short weeks, the industry went...
