You are invited! World kindness Day is this Wednesday 13th November. I am hosting on behalf of Rotary an information session on our fully funded scholarships for overseas study in an area that positively impacts the creation of peace and harmony within our community. Such areas include domestic violence, homelessness, youth justice, mentoring, skilling and education, mental health etc. The objective is for these scholarship holders to return to Tasmania and work in the area of study to increase peace and harmony in our local community.
The complimentary event is at 1pm at The Royal Yacht Club in Sandy Bay and afternoon tea is included. we are looking for organisations or individuals interested in participating or collaborating. Please contact Alison Rogers if you wish to attend

Perspective. It’s such an important aspect of how you view your set of circumstances, prioritise in life and your connection and communication with others.
Being able to view situations from other positions, consider other beliefs, experiences and view points allows us to better understand each other and have greater empathy. It reduces bias, judgement and conflict.
(Pics are taken the same time this morning - one on the Gold Coast one in Tasmania- I think we should put our clocks back 3 hours!!😜)

May this International Women’s Day be one where we reflect on how far we have come and be the catalyst for further conversation, and real action on how we can really magnify the change still needed to have all people regardless of gender, race, physical and mental capacity, education, title, position, financial capacity, location and religion feel heard, included, celebrated and belong.
