Jasmax has appointed registered architect Matt Watson as Associate Principal in its Melbourne studio, bolstering the practice's growing Australian presence across the education, health, government, and cultural sectors.

Watson joins from Hassell, bringing extensive master planning expertise across major health and tertiary precincts, including multi-campus strategies for the University of Melbourne and redevelopments for The Royal Melbourne and Royal Women’s hospitals. Dual-registered in Victoria and New Zealand, and previously qualified as a solicitor, he re-joins Jasmax to work alongside Principals Michelle Harris, Nick Gamble, and Jeff Gabriel.

"Matt's leadership across education, health and community projects will be a real asset to our Melbourne studio and to clients — both in Australia, and in Aotearoa New Zealand," says Matthew Glubb, CEO at Jasmax.
