Eberhard Consulting

Eberhard Consulting Good evidence and good processes for natural resource management decisions I am passionate about collaboration, evaluation and adaptation.

As a consultant, I work with clients to improve the effectiveness of their decisions and actions to improve environmental and social outcomes. In practice, this means I help with synthesis, policy, planning, strategy, brokerage, facilitation, management and evaluation. I have over 20 years of experience in environmental and agricultural science, planning and policy. I combine a scientific approach

to rigorous evidence, with a strong interest in the social processes of decision-making. I have a degree in Agricultural Science, a Masters of Natural Resource Management, and am currently undertaking further studies in Business. I have been consulting for 6 years. I mostly work with water and landscape planning and management processes at large scales (catchment landscapes to multi-regional). I have had major roles with large collaborations in the Great Barrier Reef and regional Natural Resource Management. I work for Commonwealth, State and Local Governments, Regional Natural Resource Management bodies, industry groups and the private sector. I work embedded in client teams, in an advisory capacity, contracted for specific activities, or with other consultants for larger projects. I am based in Queensland and Northern NSW, but work across Australia.

Had the privelige to chair the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program (RRAP) Engagement Advisory Panel for QUT this week. A bunch of impressive and diverse people who have come together to support the RRAP program. We also managed to get out with RRAP researchers and Red Cat Adventures to see both assisted and natural coral recovery at Black Island in the Whitsundays. Thanks Adam Smith (ReefEcologic) for the photos.
