We are incredibly proud to announce that Angkor Takeaway is the 2026 Darwin International Laksa Festival Golden Bowl Champion!!!

It's hard to put into words just how much this means to us. ❤️

So much love, passion and hard work goes into what we do, and to receive this award is something we will treasure forever.

To our amazing team, thank you for all your hard work and dedication. We couldn't have done this without you.

To everyone who has supported us, visited our little takeaway in Woolner and shared their love for our laksa, we cannot thank you enough. Your support means the world to us.

A big congratulations to our fellow finalists, Kopi Stop and Pho Rapid Creek!

A huge thank you to the judges and everyone involved in making the Darwin International Laksa Festival such a wonderful celebration of our local food community.

And a special thank you to our friend Thomas Jang who pushed us to put laksa on our menu and helped us prepare our very first batch just three and a half years ago. Who would have thought we'd be holding the Golden Bowl today! ❤️🏆

Join us for a day of celebrating everyone's favourite – LAKSA! 🍜

We are closed at Woolner today, but you'll find us at the Finale serving up all your favourites – Laksa Chicken Skewers, Crispy Laksa Wontons and Laksa Street Corn!

We'll be taking the stage from 6pm for the Golden Bowl Final! 🏆

Last night, we had the incredible opportunity to showcase our Laksa at Tourism Australia's G'day Australia event at Mindil Beach Casino!

What an amazing experience to share our love of laksa with visitors from across Australia and around the world. ❤️

We're incredibly proud to be part of Darwin's vibrant multicultural food scene and to have the opportunity to share a taste of the Top End, especially during a month dedicated to celebrating laksa!

❤️ To Our Laksa Lovers… THANK YOU! 🍜

WOW! Today was officially our BUSIEST LAKSA DAY EVER!

With so much laksa love coming through our doors, we did have a few little mishaps along the way. Some orders took longer than expected, and a couple didn't quite go to plan.

To those who experienced delays or order issues, we're genuinely sorry and thank you for your patience and understanding. ❤️

But more than anything, we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who continues to support our little Cambodian gem in Woolner.

We're a small team with big hearts, and seeing so many people enjoying our laksa means the world to us!

We'll be back again Saturday, ready to share more bowls of laksa goodness! 🍜
