International projects are about more than just funding. They are about trust, transparency, and accountability.
That is why it was particularly meaningful for us to contribute to the event: "How to Effectively Monitor the Use of International Aid and Prevent Fraud Through Open Data."
The event took place on April 28 as part of the "Open Data Education Against Corruption & Fraud" (ODEAC) project, implemented by the NGO "Open Data Association" in partnership with YouControl and with the financial support of the EU.
In such complex fields, it is critically important that all parties understand each other without any loss of meaning. And that is exactly what we ensured:
Simultaneous Interpreting via Zoom
Our interpreters, Yulia Herus-Behen and Anastasiia Ivaniko, worked in tandem to provide uninterrupted and accurate communication throughout the event.
Full Technical Support
Our technical specialist did much more than simply "connect Zoom." He monitored the process in real-time to ensure that the audio, interpreting channels, and participant interaction functioned smoothly and without disruption.
As a result, participants were able to focus not on technicalities, but on the substance of the discussion: combating fraud, utilizing open data, and ensuring transparency in international aid.
The project is coordinated by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) and aims to strengthen the capacity of public authorities and law enforcement agencies to counter financial offenses.
