Also more commonly known by home owners as bush termites, they usually have a large mud ball in the trees and mainly eat dead trees and timber on the ground that has fallen from trees.

However there is always the exception, this home here had termites eating a tree that was still alive and still standing up.

The next home had a mud ball about 50 metres away in the bush and the Ternites found their way in, and just because its treated pine doesn't mean it will stop termites.

Had a call out today for tapping/clicking in the walls at night and a close inspection did not find termites in the walls however we will be returning to double check in depth.

We found Termites in the back yard and in the property and a nest in the neighbours property!

Termites are found in 1 out of every 3 houses however some areas are much more prone to Termites.
