Hi to everyone who has been following our page. We sold our Wyanbene property in August 2025. We still have contact with a lot of people who bought our sheep and their offspring over the years . We are now in Michelago village on a half acre block. We are happy to help/advise anyone who have Dorpers or are thinking about about getting some. We have been sheep farming for many years and miss it but are happy not to have to do as much now.
Cheers from Brian and Elspeth Newby.

Azalia-Lea Dorpers are still in operation for now. After almost 7 years in Wyanbene we are selling our farm here. We are listed on Ray White Braidwood now. Look up '79 Mackeys Lane, Wyanbene'. The sheep business can be taken on by the buyer(s). Here are some photos from the last year or so in operation.

Our oldest ewe born 2011 just still keeps having babies. She is such a good Mum - we have 4 left from the original flock we started with that year. She always has such a HUGE udder but she rears amazing twins each time.

More triplet photos. Still going well with Mum.

Because of the last 2.5 years of very wet weather we decided to move our sheep yards to an area that is always dry and now they are more accessible loading sheep on to our trailer too. Here are some photos of our new yard set up.

Lambing 2022 started in early June. We used Marky one of our last year's poddy ram lambs. His mother was one of our original flock (Amarula x Kaya breed) and Paulie a bought in ram was his father. Marky was born 7/7/2021 and has done an amazing job. He is a great shedder like his mother. Here are some photos of lambs dropped so far. Marky will go to a new home later this year.
