I could have stayed in bed (after kids swimming club, two games of netball and an after hours work meeting this week it would have been the easy option) but one of my ‘why’s’ wanted to go for a run. He (and his siblings) are why I work hard, they are why I have work meetings after hours and am not there every night to put them to bed, they are why I show up every day, even on the days when I don’t feel like it. Sometimes we need a reminder of why, we can get so caught up in the doing but this morning reminded me why I do what I do. 😂 I can’t keep up so I rode my bike and I’m grateful we got to do this together this morning.

My husband is away doing something he loves (looking forward to my turn 😂), my house has had kids coming and going all weekend (including my own) - which I wouldn’t change for the world, I washed up 4 times before lunch time today, been asked more times than I can count for something to eat but this makes my heart happy. Yummy baked goods for lunch boxes, maybe I should start baking before the weekend starts so I’ll be asked less times what’s to eat 😂 ❤️

It’s so nice to be back into the routine of school drop offs and time in the office! What is even better is when Wally comes to visit and hang out! We did not need approval to bring Wally into the office - however if we were bringing him home to a unit or townhouse - we would require approval from the Body corporate committee.
