Vintage 2026 has officially wrapped.

A cooler climate year, with strong, consistent fruit across the board, delivering softer tannins and bright natural acidity.

A big couple of months with plenty of moving parts, and a hardworking team that brought it all together. We can’t wait to see how these wines will shape.

Our Redtail Liqueur Muscat is all about patience.

The fruit is picked very late in the growing season, when the grapes are starting to raisin on the vine. That’s when sugars and flavours are at their most concentrated — exactly what we’re looking for.

From there, everything is handpicked by our vineyard and winery team, then aged in barrel and carefully blended using a solera-style system. A long-term process that builds depth and complexity over decades.

It was a team effort last week as our vintage crew hand-picked our Home Block Shiraz. A nice break from the winery and some time spent out in the vineyard.

The fruit was of high quality and in great condition, allowing us to include a portion of whole bunches in the fermentation process, adding an extra layer of depth and complexity to the wine.

We’re excited to see this year’s Home Block Shiraz take shape – it’s looking to be a special vintage!

Our 2024 Home Block Shiraz
Concentrated and perfumed, with dark berries and a touch of aniseed, alongside savoury spice and gentle oak. A recent trophy winner, it’s a complex wine with fine tannins and a long, balanced finish.
