Staff wanted at IGA Goonellabah, 27-31 Rous Road.

Daily duties include:
• Greeting customers who enter the shop.
• Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
• Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
• Stocking shelves with merchandise.
• Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
• Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes sweeping and mopping.
• Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
• Responsible for security within the store and being on the look out for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
• Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
• Exercise responsible service of alcohol by refusing service to intoxicated customers
• Refusing service of ci******es and liquor to underage people or who can not provide proof of age.

The personal skills that are required for the job:
• Having a friendly and engaging personality.
• Comfortable working with members of the public.
• Should have a confident manner.
• Must be helpful and polite.
• Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.
• Able to work as part of a sales team.
• Previous experience in handling cash.
• Current RSA card (Responsible Service of Alcohol). Or willing to get one immediately.

Midford are looking for bright and enthusiastic applicants for the Manager and Casual positions to work in the new uniform shop at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School opening in April 2017. Applicants need to be available Monday,Tuesday, and Thursdays and during the normal school year and full time during the January / February back to school period.

Rates of pay are based on the retail award.
