What did you do today?

I spent most of my day going around in very frustrated circles trying to recover my Little Biz business portfolio in Meta...

Meta is brilliant at their AI taking you around the mountain again, and again, and again... sending you to links it knows you can't use or access... and then starts the process again!!

It looks like an admin user in my business portfolio got hacked and they were able to access my business portfolio, add new users and then remove me as an admin.

Super inconvenient and not what I had planned for today ๐Ÿ˜“ especially as I have my Facebook security pretty tight...

If you have any additional admin users in your meta business portfolio who aren't needed, please reduce their permissions or remove them! And make sure anyone who you add as an admin uses 2FA and keeps their account secure... it will save you a lot of heartache and time!!

Are you managing your own WordPress website and feel like you are 'winging it' every time you log in to make some changes to your website?

Maybe you want to add digital products to your website and need someone to help you set up the technical side of selling your own digital products.

Maybe you just have a few images you need to update, or you have added some new feathers to your bow and need them to be added to your website.

Maybe you had the website built eons ago and it needs several changes over your website.

Great news, Little Biz loves to assist business owners with their website edits! Just send us an email to let us know you want to chat about us doing some website edits on your WordPress website and we can book a time to get that happening for you.

Mindset and what we believe about ourselves and our abilities is what controls our ability to run our businesses.

Taking time to seriously consider our mindset, beliefs and attitudes around business is a super important part of doing business. If you discover any that aren't serving you well, take some time to work on them.

Future you will thank you!!

*Website Showcase*

We teamed up with local legends Cobalt + Co to build a fresh new site for Hilton's Property Clearance, a rubbish removal service with a serious eye for transformation.

Charging properly isn't greedy. It's what keeps your business alive.

I used to undercharge because I felt guilty asking for what my work was actually worth. All that did was leave me exhausted and resentful, which helped nobody... least of all my clients.

Your prices need to cover more than your time. They need to cover your experience, your overheads, and your ability to keep showing up.

Have you looked at your pricing lately, or is it still what you charged when you started? Worth a Thursday check-in.

What platform is your website hosted on? (Eg: Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or WordPress?)

We love creating custom websites on WordPress.org using a lightweight theme and page builders. We work with our clients to create the website they need and to fulfill their vision for their website.

Our main aim is to always ensure our clients have full access to their own websites so they are able to take control of their own website at any time.

We understand that everyone has different needs, budget, time and technical abilities. That's why we offer our clients 3 levels of website builds and support:

1. We do it ALL
2. We do MOST
3. We do SOME

This allows flexibility for YOU and enables you to access the support you need for your business.

Check your website on your phone.

Not your laptop, your actual phone. It will only take a couple of minutes and helps you to see what your website users are experiencing on their mobile.

There are so many small business websites that don't quite look right on a mobile device... a button cut off, text overlapping on mobile, or other display issues. Most websites are viewed from a mobile device, not a desktop computer - so it's important to make sure your website works properly on your phone.

Found an issue? Tell me what you spotted ๐Ÿ‘‡

Happy Tuesday!!

All you need to grow your biz is one little step after another.

Don't try to make huge steps that you won't do, then feel guilty or shamed for not doing them...

One little step at a time is all you need to grow.
